Our Story
Built on Hard Work Since 1989
It all started with three employees and a small office in Fort Collins, Colorado. Since its start in 1989, Mark Young Construction has been passionately committed to quality construction, great relationships, and complete customer service.
That dedication, along with a team of talented employees and subcontractors, has been the perfect mix. We have grown from a team of three to more than 250 in over 35 years, with licenses in 16 states and projects in most.
Our projects cover the western United States and include K-12 education, office, historical, industrial, higher education, municipal, healthcare/hospitality, grocery, mountain/resorts, retail, refrigeration, and concrete.
Even though we are as big as any contractor in Colorado, our customer service will remind you of what it is like to work with a small family. We are in the business of relationships and we never forget that.
